I cannot believe that I am almost halfway through this pregnancy!
This week Appleseed is:
about 5 1/2 inches long (bell pepper or sweet potato according to differing websites) and 5 ounces in weight! He/she is starting to be able to hear my stomach growling or my heartbeat. His/her bones are starting to harden!
I have 4 different apps on my phone that update me on Appleseed's growth and development! I'm a nerd! If I could find more, I would get them but I refuse to buy an app.
I also cannot stay full this week. I snack (healthy for the most part) all of the time. I even snacked during the sermon at church this morning. God understands! He blessed me with this hungry child! I'm sure the scale at the doctor's office is going to say way more than 5 pounds this next time around. Oh well! I like fat babies!
I also can smell everything! Example: Lady opens styrofoam cup of coffee around 6 to 8 feet in front of me, and I am then transported into the entry to Starbucks...
This is not a fat baby, but it is still cute and round! :-)
Jonathan and I have been registering for baby gear and let me tell you--this task is overwhelming! What diapers should we choose? Which monitor should we choose? Which car seat/stroller/travel system should we choose?! Ahh!! Too much! I just walk around and give Jonathan the "zapper" to put things on the list! I hereby apologize if you find a flat screen television on our registry!
However, I now know the difference between a boppy, a bumbo, a pack N' play, and a Sophie giraffe! Yay! Thanks friends and family for teaching me about all of the baby unique items! It is a whole different language to learn!
Yesterday, June 4, 2011, was the first day in weeks that I have gone without my medicine. Then, I woke up sick this morning but half a pill has seemed to keep the vomitting at bay...for now.
We are still waiting on our changing table before we start putting together the crib!
More belly pictures and nursery pictures to come!
Here is a picture of Big Sister Selah to keep your minds at ease that it is still calm and relaxed around the Turner household!
