The day was Friday, May 27, 2011. I was sitting at my desk at work eating my usual 10 a.m. snack (wheat thins, cashews, and yogurt covered raisins). There was a little rumble and some bubbles. I thought for a minute and continued to eat more assuming Appleseed was really hungry. This happened some more throughout the day. I called Jonathan and told him I thought I had felt Appleseed move but would need to wait for it to happen more frequently to be sure.
These raisins are SO GOOD. Oranges are still the best! Oh and chocolate, chocolate chip ice cream!
Sure enough, it has continued since then!! Yay for little Appleseed ninja kicks and punches making my morning sickness all worth this cuteness! I always laugh when it happens assuming Appleseed is kicking and punching me as hard as he/she can and yet it is so infrequent and faint! Aww!! (Say it with me, "Aww!")
Things that make Appleseed move: Lemonade pops, cold water, food, and well sitting, lying down--really anything!
Appleseed is currently the size of an Avocado this week-yet I look as if I am hiding a cantalope..geez...
Other developments this week: lanugo is starting to form on the body (hair), fingerprints and toeprints are forming, and Appleseed is forming enamel on his/her teeth! Yay!
Side note: Appleseed's crib arrived today!! Woohoo! Daddy will be putting it together this weekend! Pictures to come of the SLOWLY developing baby room!
17 1/2 weeks (see the cantalope..I mean avocado)
